No will, no trust – more paperwork, twice!  Several years ago, brother died having failed to do any estate planning.  Mother and sister were left to clean up the financial mess.  DeAngelis Legal assisted sister to obtain Letters of Personal Representative issued by the probate court through an informal intestate probate and successfully transferred the decedent’s assets to his family.  But the story doesn’t end there.  In April, mother also died without a will, thereby requiring sister to open another probate to transfer her assets.  Good news is the sister was well up to speed on what we needed to do and we had her appointed as Personal Representative of her mother’s estate in no time.
